Greenville Technical College’s Student Scholar Showcase is an annual event open to GTC students in all majors and programs to spotlight and celebrate academic achievement. Greenville Tech wants to elevate awareness among our student body, faculty, staff, administration, and the Greenville community regarding the scholarly and creative endeavors of GTC students who make an original contribution to a discipline or career field.
The college encourages our community members and neighboring businesses and organizations to join us in celebrating the dedication, ingenuity, and achievements of our students.
Students present their work in a variety of ways, including oral presentations, posters, and 3D displays.
These are only examples. You may have other work that doesn’t match what has been presented in the past.
See for yourself - check out previous Showcase works at http://gtcshines.tumblr.com/.
Tips on presenting at the Showcase:
How to dress for your presentation:
Unless you are in costume for your presentation, we suggest you wear clothes that are considered business casual. Business casual would be slacks or khakis, dress shirt or blouse, open-collar or polo shirt, optional tie or seasonal sport coat, a dress or skirt at knee-length or below, a tailored blazer, knit shirt or sweater, and loafers or dress shoes that cover all or most of the foot.
